The Littelfuse 216 Series part 021612.5MXBP provides a 12.5A rating with fast-acting 5×20mm ceramic fuse characteristics. The selected part uses cartridge, mxb packaging. The full ordering code specifies cartridge, mxb packaging, so package and lead details should be matched exactly. It is rated 250 V AC and the datasheet lists 1500 A @ 250 VAC interrupting capability. Nominal melting I²t is 175 A²s. Verify ambient derating, coordination and the exact manufacturer ordering code against the current Littelfuse datasheet before design-in.
